YMCA membership opens the door to many exciting family, individual, and community programs designed to build spirit, mind, and body. The Y membership gives you access to fully equipped facilities with basketball courts, cardio equipment, child care centers, group fitness, indoor pools, locker rooms with showers, personal trainers, sauna/steam room, weight training machines, and more! You and your family will enjoy the benefits of YMCA membership through participation in various fun and healthful activities, from aquatics to summer camp, from AOA to Zumba!

At the Y, joining as a member is easy! Download your paperwork, fill it out, and bring it to any YMCA branch for quick processing. As a non-profit, we strive to maintain fixed, low-cost membership rates that never change season by season. For more information about your family's membership cost, reference the chart below. YMCA of the Sandhills membership allows access to all Ys participating in Nationwide Membership!

Financial assistance is always available to those in need in our community. Please apply at the Welcome Center (income verification is required).

Kids Care- Let us care for your younger child (ages 6 weeks - 11 yrs old) while you use the Y. Free for children on an active membership.

Payment and Billing Terms

Visit the YMCA Welcome Center to set up monthly memberships. Monthly dues are automatically drafted from the credit card or bank account you provide to place on file. Members may also choose to purchase a semi-annual or annual package. The YMCA accepts all major credit cards, cash, and checks for payment.

All membership cancellations require a 30-day written notice and the return of your YMCA membership card.

Financial Assistance

The YMCA is honored to offer a nurturing, safe, and fun environment for all needy families. This scholarship only discounts the Family Value Membership fee or Non-Member program fees.

OPEN DOORS: Our year-round financial assistance program called "Open Doors" may be applied for at any YMCA branch by submitting the following documents for all household adults:

current year tax form (1040 or proof of non-filing)
two most recent paycheck stubs or unemployment award letter
verification of government assistance (SNAP benefits, housing subsidy, etc.)
verification of student loan/grant income
verification of other private assistance (community organizations, churches, etc.)
