HEALTHY KIDS DAY  SET FOR APRIL 26 AT THE YMCA OF THE SANDHILLS 

Free and open to the public, this annual event in Fayetteville and Cameron features fun-filled activities to celebrate kids being kids!

COME FOR ALL THE FUN!
This free, annual event, sponsored nationally by Peanuts, features a variety of family-friendly activities to encourage healthy kids, healthy families and a healthy start to the summer season. Healthy Kids Day® will feature a bounce house, rock-climbing wall, swimming, outdoor fitness classes and fun games and activities for the entire community to enjoy.

Plus you can learn about all the programs the Y offers for kids this summer, from day camp to swim lessons to teen programs.

“It is so important for kids to stay active over the summer, both physically and mentally,” said Jeff Darling, CEO of the YMCA of the Sandhills. “At the Y, we believe in providing resources for families to create healthy habits , no matter the time of year. Healthy Kids Day® is a fun, free community-wide event that encourages families to take advantage of all the great summer activities the Y has to offer. We’re focused on building stronger, healthier communities, and this event is a fun way for us to connect with everyone in our community.”
