Building Champions on the Field, on the Court and in Life!
Soccer and Basketball at YMCA of the Sandhills

Through YMCA of the Sandhills Youth Sports programs, kids in Harnett County and Cumberland County gain more than just athletic skills—they learn teamwork resilience, and confidence. Our programs include clinics with dedicated coaches and instructors support each child's growth.

Children reach their full potential when they are healthy in spirit, mind, and body. That's why the Y connects kids to caring adult role models whose example and leadership teach critical character values and life skills ranging from how to be a good student, a good sport and a good citizen-while teaching the fundaments of a sport and having fun!

Youth Soccer

Last fall,  kids aged 2 to 5 joined us for a soccer clinic to help little athletes build confidence and skills through age-appropriate drills, games and plenty of encouragement. Sessions included instructional time, a stretch session and plenty of play for improvement weekly.
