LIFEGUARD TRAINING: REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

Looking to get lifeguard certified? The Fayetteville YMCA will offer the American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification course August 14-16--providing the skills to keep swimmers safe and the credentials to back it up. Registration opens June 15! Currently certified guards who need recertification can register starting June 29 for the August 30 course. Learn more! 
 

Y staff and volunteers load meal boxes into cars for children through Summer Food Service Program

THE Y FEEDS KIDS! THURSDAYS THROUGH AUGUST 6

The Y's 2026 Summer Food Service Program happens every Thursday through August 6 in Lillington! The Y is providing free, nutritious meal boxes for children and teens 18 and under in Harnett County. Each SUN Meals to Go weekly food box contains 7 days' worth of breakfasts and lunches for students while school is out for the summer. Get all the details and pre-register here!

As we celebrate the the unofficial start of summer this Memorial Day weekend, take the "Phones Down, Eyes Up" pledge to put your phone away when near pools, lakes and beaches this summer and always assign a water watcher who is undistracted by phones, conversations, reading or alcohol. Eyes save lives!
