The YMCA will be closed or have modified hours for the following 2026 holidays. 
Please note that Group Fitness classes and Child Watch services are not available on early closure dates.

  • New Year's Day (January 1): Closed

  • Easter (April 5): Closed

  • Memorial Day (May 25): Close at 12 p.m.

  • Independence Day (July 4): Closed

  • Labor Day (September 7): Close at 12 p.m. 

  • Day before Thanksgiving (November 25): Close at 6 p.m.

  • Thanksgiving Day (November 26): Closed

  • Christmas Eve (December 24): Closed

  • Christmas Day (December 25): Closed

  • New Year's Eve (December 31): Closed

  • New Year's Day (January 1, 2027): Closed

PINK OUT PARTY: MOVE TOGETHER FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS 

In recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Y members are invited to our Mission Mammogram Pink Out Party at the Fayetteville YMCA on Saturday, October 10 from 9-10:30 in the fitness room upstairs at the Y! Come for this pink-powered cardio party designed to get your heart pumping and your feet moving! Sport your PINK in support of awareness and survivors as we enjoy Strong, Zumba and Line Dancing fun!

BECOME A CERTIFIED LIFEGUARD THIS OCTOBER 

Registration is open now through October 18 for the YMCA of the Sandhills' American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Course, October 23-25 at the Fayetteville YMCA, and registration is now open for the December 4-6 Lifeguard Certfication Course. Whether you're looking for your first job, a retiree ready to try something new, a stay-at-home parent wanting a flexible way back into the workforce, or just want top-tier water safety training, this course prepares you for water emergencies.

Learn essential skills including water rescues, CPR, AED use and first aid, earning a nationally recognized certification valid for two years upon completion. Register by October 18 to secure your spot! Learn more about Lifeguard Certification!
